About Budget Proxies, in plain English
We sell proxies to people who watch what they spend: students, hobbyists, small online sellers and anyone trying a proxy for the first time. You get dependable proxies, a per-GB price you can take in at a glance, and help that doesn't hide behind jargon.
What we actually do
A proxy is a computer that passes your internet traffic along for you. Websites then see the proxy's IP address (the number that identifies a connection online) instead of your own.
We rent those IP addresses out and charge by the gigabyte (GB), which is simply the amount of data that travels through them. Use a little, pay a little. It's all self-service, too: you can buy, set up, rotate (swap to fresh IPs) and renew your proxies in a few minutes, then get on with your day.
Your first order in three steps
- 1Choose a proxy type and how many GB you want.
- 2Pay by card or crypto. Your proxies appear in your dashboard straight away.
- 3Copy the IP, port, username and password into the proxy settings of your browser, app or tool.
The short version
We mean every figure in this box. If one of them doesn't hold up for you, tell us. We would much rather fix the problem than point you towards the small print and hope you forget.
You pay as you go for data. No subscription and no monthly bill.
How long every order stays valid, counted from the day you buy.
More than 55 countries to choose from, and each one has a page of its own. Browse them on our locations page.
Datacenter, residential, mobile and premium, so the proxy can match the job.
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5: the three common “languages” apps use to talk to a proxy.
Delivery. Pay, and your proxies are ready in the dashboard. Nothing to sign and nobody to wait for.
The uptime we design for, meaning the share of time the network is working. There's backup throughout, so your proxies stay reachable at any hour.
Network speed on our links, with spare room for heavy jobs. Your own connection and the site you visit still affect what you see.
Why we built a simpler proxy service
When we first went shopping for proxies, buying them felt like a puzzle somebody had made hard on purpose. Prices hid behind “contact sales” buttons. Low rates turned out to need a huge yearly commitment. Websites were packed with numbers nobody outside the company could check. After hours of comparing one pricing table with another, we still couldn't say what a single gigabyte would cost us.
So we built the service we'd been looking for. Each proxy type has one plain per-GB rate, every order is valid for 30 days, and the guides are written in everyday English. The whole aim fits in one line: good-quality proxies at a fair price, with numbers that still add up when you check them twice.
That rules out gimmicks, hidden fees and “free trials” that quietly renew into a paid plan. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. We'd rather earn your next order by being upfront than win a single sale with a clever trick.
Things you won't find here
- ✘ Prices hidden behind “contact us”
- ✘ Big claims that nobody can check
- ✘ Muddled price tiers with extras bolted on
- ✘ Trials that turn into paid plans without asking
- ✘ Slow support that reads from a script
We say what we can't do
If something isn't a good fit for you, we'll tell you. Losing a sale beats promising more than we can deliver.
Small orders, same rate
One plain per-GB price for each type, nothing hidden in the charges, and no penalty for buying a little.
Legal use only
We set this network up for legitimate purposes, and we ask everyone who uses it to treat it with care.
We'd like you back next month
We judge ourselves by how many people come back, not by one-off sign-ups. When you do well, so do we.
We're new, still finding our feet, and a small team by choice rather than a faceless reseller. You won't see us claim certificates we don't hold, badges nobody gave us or partnerships that don't exist, and we won't pretend to run a giant network either. Being plain about where we stand beats borrowing credibility we haven't earned.
Which proxy type should I pick?
There are four, all charged per GB, and every order is valid for 30 days. The higher-priced types carry more trust with websites, so only pay for that extra trust when your project needs it.
Datacenter
from $2.49/GB
Pick it if price and speed matter most. These IPs live on servers in data centres and cost the least of our four. They suit testing, collecting public data and keeping an eye on prices or search rankings, on sites that don't put up strong defences against automated visitors.
Datacenter proxies →Residential
from $3.98/GB
Pick it if you need to look like an ordinary household. These IPs belong to home internet connections, which suits market research, checking adverts, brand protection and seeing a site just as a local visitor would.
Residential proxies →Mobile 4G/5G
from $4.98/GB
Pick it if you specifically need an IP from a mobile phone network, the same kind your phone uses. It suits testing apps and looking after a handful of legitimate business accounts within each platform's rules.
Mobile proxies →Residential Premium
from $6.99/GB
Pick it if the other three aren't enough. It's the pool we trust most, kept for the most demanding jobs and for careful automation that sticks to every site's terms.
Premium proxies →Still unsure? Put all four side by side on our pricing page, or try a small order first and move up only if the job calls for it.
How paying by the gigabyte works
Think of a prepaid data bundle on a phone. You buy an allowance of gigabytes, it goes down as you use it, and you never pay for more than you bought. There's no monthly contract and no fixed number of rented ports (connection points) to keep paying for. A small research job costs very little. A bigger project can grow without anyone renegotiating a plan or billing you for spare capacity that sits unused month after month.
Choose datacenter, residential, mobile or premium, then the number of GB you expect to get through.
Your allowance goes down as data passes through. The dashboard shows what's left, live, whenever you look.
Order another allowance whenever you like. Each new order gets its own 30-day validity.
No idea how much data you'll need? Our proxy calculator gives you an estimate, so you don't buy more than you'll use.
Four mistakes first-timers make
- Buying too much at once. Data that's still unused when the 30 days run out doesn't carry over, so start small and top up.
- Paying for more trust than the job needs. If the site you're visiting doesn't block automated traffic much, datacenter may be all you need.
- Leaving the testing until later. Try your proxies as soon as they arrive. Our refund policy has a time limit for reporting a faulty order.
- Thinking a proxy changes the rules. It doesn't. Every site's terms, and the law where you are, still apply to you.
Where the IPs come from, and what we keep about you
Shared by choice
Our residential and mobile IPs belong to people who opted in and are paid for sharing their connection. None of them come from hijacked devices, from hidden code slipped into other apps (malware-laden SDKs), or from public lists somebody scraped.
Everyone taking part knows exactly what they agreed to and can leave whenever they like. A network is only as trustworthy as the way its IPs were collected, so we'd rather run a smaller, clean pool than a bigger one of doubtful origin.
No record of where you go
We don't log the websites or addresses you visit through our proxies. Bandwidth is counted only as a total, for two reasons: billing you the right amount and keeping the network healthy. What you do is your business, not ours.
- ✔ No logs of destinations or URLs
- ✔ Bandwidth counted as a total, for billing
- ✔ Only the account and billing details we need
- ✔ A privacy policy written to be read
Exactly which details we hold is set out in our privacy policy.
Keeping your account safe
Traffic travelling to our platform and gateways is encrypted, and your own sessions can run over HTTPS or SOCKS5, whichever you prefer.
You decide how your proxies check that it's you: a username and password, or an IP whitelist (a list of your own IP addresses that may connect without a password).
We look after your account and billing details carefully, and we never sell your data to anyone.
If something goes wrong
A person answers, day or night
When you write to us, a member of the team reads it. There's no bot queue in the way. We're around at any hour for setup questions, logging in (authentication), billing, or anything that has stopped working the way it should.
Email [email protected] or use our contact page. We aim to answer quickly and actually sort the problem out, not wave it away.
A replacement or your money back
If a proxy doesn't work the way we described it, you'll get a replacement or a refund. A fair result should be the normal outcome here, not a favour you have to argue for. Time limits, who qualifies and every other detail are written out in our refund policy.
What people use us for
Proxies are for legitimate jobs, big or small. These six come up most often, and each one starts with the question that usually brings people here:
Researching a market
Thinking of selling abroad? Gather public information from other countries to see what people want, what competitors offer and which trends are starting to grow.
Checking adverts
Paying for adverts? Make sure each one appears as designed in every place you're aiming it at. The industry calls this ad verification.
Tracking prices and rankings
Selling online? Watch public prices, and where you appear in search results (SEO), as they look from the regions you care about.
Protecting a brand
Got a shop or brand name to look after? Spot fake listings and unauthorised sellers early, before they do real harm to your reputation.
Testing a site or app
Built a website or an app? Check it works properly for visitors in other countries. Developers call this QA testing.
Automating, within the rules
Learning to automate a task? Run your scripts gently, staying inside each site's terms of service and the law that applies to you.

Is this allowed?
Using a proxy doesn't change any rules. You still need to stay within the law at all times and respect the terms of each website and platform you use. Our acceptable use policy explains what is permitted and what we won't allow on the network, so please read it before you start.
Questions newcomers ask about us
Who is behind Budget Proxies?
A new, small team with one aim: good proxies at the most sensible per-GB price we can honestly put our name to. You can buy datacenter, residential, mobile 4G/5G and residential premium IPs. All four are charged by the gigabyte, and every order stays valid for 30 days.
Where do the home and mobile IP addresses come from?
From people who chose to share their connection and gave full, informed consent first. We keep no logs of the websites you visit through them. The network exists for lawful, genuine work, so every customer is asked to follow the terms of each site they use and the law that applies to them.
Why pay per GB instead of a monthly plan?
Because you only pay for the data you buy, and nothing is tucked away in the small print. Datacenter starts at $2.49/GB, residential at $3.98/GB, mobile 4G/5G at $4.98/GB and residential premium at $6.99/GB. Each order is valid for 30 days.
Do you keep a record of the websites I visit?
No. The sites and addresses you reach through our proxies are not written down anywhere. Bandwidth is only counted as a running total, so that we can bill you correctly and keep the network healthy.
How soon can I use my proxies after paying?
Straight away. Once your payment clears, the proxies are already waiting in your dashboard. Nobody has to approve the order by hand first.
