Dhaka proxies, made simple
Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh. Sites use Bengali (Bangla) and English, prices are in taka, and Bangladesh's clock sits half an hour ahead of India's.
Pay per GB from $2.49 · no contract · 99.9% uptime
A first look at Dhaka online: Old Dhaka food, metro rides and what a local IP won't solve
Picture the proxy as a mailbox in Dhaka: websites send their pages there, and it forwards them to you. Because the pages are addressed to Dhaka, sites show the city's news, events and shops first. That's handy for Bangladeshis abroad, students heading to Dhaka universities, and small sellers checking their Facebook shop or website. Getting started: pick a proxy type, choose Bangladesh and Dhaka, and enter the details.
Old Dhaka and the river
Local searches surface Old Dhaka favourites: Lalbagh Fort, Ahsan Manzil, the pink palace on the Buriganga, boats at Sadarghat, and biryani and bakarkhani from shops around Nazira Bazar. Roads are quieter on Fridays, but Ahsan Manzil opens only in the afternoon that day and closes on Thursdays.
Getting around
Dhaka's metro, MRT Line 6, runs from Uttara through Mirpur and Farmgate to Motijheel, and buses, CNG auto-rickshaws, cycle rickshaws and ride-hailing apps such as Pathao and Uber cover the rest. A Dhaka IP brings up local fare and service news first.
Dhaka news
The Daily Star and Dhaka Tribune report in English, and Prothom Alo and Kaler Kantho in Bangla. Their city pages cover waterlogging after monsoon downpours, metro updates and road closures for events.
What it won't do
A Dhaka IP won't open a bKash or Nagad wallet, which needs a Bangladeshi number and national ID, or register a SIM, which needs fingerprint verification. Bangladeshi sites' terms still apply, and so does the law in your own country.

Local broadband and mobile networks
Which type should I pick?
You buy data by the gigabyte (GB). Unsure? Residential covers most local checks.
Residential Premium
Selected residential IPs. For stricter sites.
Quick start in three steps
- 1 Buy a little data first
- 2 Choose the location
- 3 Connect, then test it
First time? The setup guide walks through each step, and our IP checker shows when it's working.
Good to know first
- Types. Residential and mobile IPs come from home broadband and phone networks; datacenter IPs come from servers. Residential, explained →
- Connections. Every type works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. What those are →
- Sessions. A sticky session keeps one IP for a while, which suits logins. A rotating one changes it on every request, which suits long lists of public pages. Which do I need? → Static proxies →
- Limits. Only your IP changes, not your language settings, your clock or who you are when signed in.
- The rules. Stay within the law that applies to you and each site's terms of service. Acceptable use policy →
