Brasilia proxies, made simple
Brasilia is Brazil's planned capital, built inland in the middle of the last century. Sites load in Portuguese, and Brazil no longer moves its clocks for summer.

Brasília for beginners: Niemeyer landmarks, car-free Sundays and ipê season
Every website you visit reads your IP address to work out roughly where you are; a Brasília proxy makes that answer Brazil's capital, and searches start favouring Portuguese pages about the Federal District. To set it up, select Brasília when ordering if your proxy type includes it, and add the details to your browser. A lookup page may then show Brasília, Distrito Federal or simply DF, and any of those is correct.
Niemeyer without a ticket
The Catedral Metropolitana and the National Congress, both designed by Oscar Niemeyer, can be visited without paying, and Congress offers guided visits. A Brasília IP brings their opening times into Portuguese search results, but visiting days do change, so look at the official pages before setting off.
Car-free Sundays on the Eixão
On Sundays and public holidays, the Eixão, the main road through the Plano Piloto, closes to cars and fills with cyclists, runners and families. Searching 'Eixão do Lazer' from a Brasília IP brings up local news about closures and events.
When the ipês flower
During the dry season, roughly from July to September, the city's ipê trees bloom pink, yellow and then white. Local photo spots and flowering updates turn up readily in searches from a Brasília IP, which helps if you're timing a visit around them.
Accounts need documents
A Brasília IP won't give you a gov.br login, the account for Brazilian public services, which needs a CPF, Brazil's taxpayer number, plus identity checks. Brazilian public services check identity papers, and an IP address isn't one.

Local broadband and mobile networks
Which type should I pick?
You buy data by the gigabyte (GB). Unsure? Residential covers most local checks.
Residential Premium
Selected residential IPs. For stricter sites.
Quick start in three steps
- 1 Buy a little data first
- 2 Choose the location
- 3 Connect, then test it
First time? The setup guide walks through each step, and our IP checker shows when it's working.
Good to know first
- Types. Residential and mobile IPs come from home broadband and phone networks; datacenter IPs come from servers. Residential, explained →
- Connections. Every type works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. What those are →
- Sessions. A sticky session keeps one IP for a while, which suits logins. A rotating one changes it on every request, which suits long lists of public pages. Which do I need? → Static proxies →
- Limits. Only your IP changes, not your language settings, your clock or who you are when signed in.
- The rules. Stay within the law that applies to you and each site's terms of service. Acceptable use policy →
