Manila proxies, made simple
Manila is the capital of the Philippines. Many sites there use English as well as Filipino, prices are in pesos, and the clock is on Philippine Standard Time.

Following Manila from abroad: old-city outings, city papers and walang pasok days
An IP address is a bit like the area code on a phone number: it tells websites roughly where a visit comes from. Use a Manila proxy and Philippine sites see a visitor from the capital, so Manila news, events and shops appear first. Useful for Filipinos abroad keeping up with home, students heading to Manila universities and small online sellers. The setup is short: pick a type, choose the Philippines and Manila, and paste the details into your browser.
Old-city outings
Local searches bring up Intramuros walking and bike tours, Fort Santiago, Rizal Park and the National Museum's galleries, which are free to enter, plus food crawls in Binondo. A Manila IP also puts event listings for the bayfront and the city's old churches first.
Manila news and walang pasok
Manila Bulletin and The Philippine Star report on the city, and during typhoons and heavy monsoon rain people watch for 'walang pasok', meaning no classes or work. Local pages and city social accounts announce these suspensions, and a Manila IP brings them up quickly.
Is it working?
Run any Google search and scroll to the bottom of the results page: the location line should mention Manila, Metro Manila or the Philippines. If it still names your home town, open the proxy settings and check the port and password again.
What a Manila IP can't do
It won't register a Philippine SIM, which needs ID under the SIM Registration Act of 2022, or open a GCash or Maya wallet. Sellers still choose where they ship, and a site's terms and the law where you live don't change with your IP address.

Local broadband and mobile networks
Which type should I pick?
You buy data by the gigabyte (GB). Unsure? Residential covers most local checks.
Residential Premium
Selected residential IPs. For stricter sites.
Quick start in three steps
- 1 Buy a little data first
- 2 Choose the location
- 3 Connect, then test it
First time? The setup guide walks through each step, and our IP checker shows when it's working.
Good to know first
- Types. Residential and mobile IPs come from home broadband and phone networks; datacenter IPs come from servers. Residential, explained →
- Connections. Every type works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. What those are →
- Sessions. A sticky session keeps one IP for a while, which suits logins. A rotating one changes it on every request, which suits long lists of public pages. Which do I need? → Static proxies →
- Limits. Only your IP changes, not your language settings, your clock or who you are when signed in.
- The rules. Stay within the law that applies to you and each site's terms of service. Acceptable use policy →
