Why someone might browse from Valencia, and what it won't change
Every device online uses an IP address, which websites read to work out roughly where you are. A Valencia proxy gives you one in the Mediterranean city known for paella and Las Fallas, so local festivals, beaches and news show up first. It's a simple way to plan around the festival calendar or keep up with the city while learning Spanish or Valencian.
The Turia gardens and the beach
After a flood in 1957, Valencia moved its river away from the centre, and the old riverbed became the Turia gardens, a park ending at the City of Arts and Sciences. Searches like 'parque cerca' or 'playa' made through Valencia bring up the Turia and Malvarrosa beach first.
Valencian on screen
Valencian is the regional language, closely related to Catalan, and many public and cultural sites show it first. Look for a switch marked Castellano for Spanish; if there isn't one, your browser's translate button treats Valencian pages as Catalan and copes well.
Getting started
Here's a tasty test once the proxy is in your browser: search 'horchatería', and cafés serving horchata, the local tiger-nut drink, should be in Valencia. No Valencian results? Confirm your order names Valencia, since not every proxy type offers city selection.

Local broadband and mobile networks
Which type should I pick?
You buy data by the gigabyte (GB). Unsure? Residential covers most local checks.
Residential Premium
Selected residential IPs. For stricter sites.
Quick start in three steps
- 1 Buy a little data first
- 2 Choose the location
- 3 Connect, then test it
First time? The setup guide walks through each step, and our IP checker shows when it's working.
Good to know first
- Types. Residential and mobile IPs come from home broadband and phone networks; datacenter IPs come from servers. Residential, explained →
- Connections. Every type works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. What those are →
- Sessions. A sticky session keeps one IP for a while, which suits logins. A rotating one changes it on every request, which suits long lists of public pages. Which do I need? → Static proxies →
- Limits. Only your IP changes, not your language settings, your clock or who you are when signed in.
- The rules. Stay within the law that applies to you and each site's terms of service. Acceptable use policy →
