Prague proxies, made simple
Prague is the Czech capital. Plenty of locals still search with Seznam, a Czech search engine, as well as Google, and shops price in Czech crowns (koruna).

Moving to Prague: flat adverts, city news and why a steady session helps
Flat hunting on Bezrealitky, checking which Praha district an advert means, booking Prague Spring seats: a lot of Prague planning happens online before you arrive. Websites guess your location from your IP address, the address your computer uses online, and through a proxy, a middleman server, that address can be a Prague one. Czech sites then treat you as someone in the city, which suits students, workers and visitors.
Planning a move
Charles University, founded in the fourteenth century, draws students from abroad, and many newcomers look for flats on Bezrealitky, a Czech site where owners list homes without agents' commission. Searching from a Prague IP means flat ads and map results centre on the city rather than wherever you're browsing from.
City news in English and Czech
Radio Prague International, Czech Radio's international service, publishes Czech and Prague news in English, and praha.eu is the City of Prague's own website. Look up transport changes or events through a Prague IP and local sources like these come up more readily.
Keep one address while you book
Choose Prague and a sticky session when you set up, so your IP stays the same for a while. Booking pages, such as Prague Spring seats or a hostel near the Old Town, can get confused if your address changes halfway through, which a rotating session does on purpose.
Limits worth knowing
A Prague IP won't make transport cheaper, since the PID Lítačka app sells the same tickets to everyone. Ride-hailing apps such as Liftago, Bolt or Uber price a trip from your pickup point, not your IP, so the proxy changes nothing there either.

Local broadband and mobile networks
Which type should I pick?
You buy data by the gigabyte (GB). Unsure? Residential covers most local checks.
Residential Premium
Selected residential IPs. For stricter sites.
Quick start in three steps
- 1 Buy a little data first
- 2 Choose the location
- 3 Connect, then test it
First time? The setup guide walks through each step, and our IP checker shows when it's working.
Good to know first
- Types. Residential and mobile IPs come from home broadband and phone networks; datacenter IPs come from servers. Residential, explained →
- Connections. Every type works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. What those are →
- Sessions. A sticky session keeps one IP for a while, which suits logins. A rotating one changes it on every request, which suits long lists of public pages. Which do I need? → Static proxies →
- Limits. Only your IP changes, not your language settings, your clock or who you are when signed in.
- The rules. Stay within the law that applies to you and each site's terms of service. Acceptable use policy →
