Hanoi proxies, made simple
Hanoi, in the north, is Vietnam's capital. Vietnamese is written in the Latin alphabet with plenty of accent marks, and the currency is the dong.

Hanoi for first-timers: lake walks, real winters and what a local IP leaves alone
Think of a proxy as a friend in Hanoi who opens web pages for you and passes them back: sites see your friend's location, not yours. So with a Hanoi proxy, Vietnamese sites show the capital's events, weather and shops first. Handy for Vietnamese families abroad, students heading to Hanoi universities and anyone planning a trip north. Getting going: choose a proxy type, select Vietnam then Hanoi, and paste the details into your browser or phone.
Weekend walking streets
From Friday to Sunday evening, the streets around Hoàn Kiếm Lake close to traffic and fill with families, street performers and snack sellers. Local searches also bring up the Temple of Literature, West Lake cafés and water puppet shows near the lake.
Hanoi has a real winter
Unlike the south, Hanoi gets a cool winter, followed by a muggy spell called nồm in late winter and spring, when damp makes walls and floors sweat. Hanoi shops push heaters and dehumidifiers that southern stores rarely bother with, so local searches look different.
Metro and motorbikes
Hanoi's first metro lines run from Cát Linh to Hà Đông and from Nhổn towards the centre. Most trips still go by motorbike, bus or ride-hailing apps such as Grab, Be and Xanh SM, the electric taxi service that launched in 2023.
What stays out of reach
A Hanoi IP won't get you a Vietnamese SIM, which needs ID checks, or a VNeID account, the government's digital identity app. Shops still deliver only where they choose, and Vietnamese law, your own country's law and each site's terms all keep applying.

Local broadband and mobile networks
Which type should I pick?
You buy data by the gigabyte (GB). Unsure? Residential covers most local checks.
Residential Premium
Selected residential IPs. For stricter sites.
Quick start in three steps
- 1 Buy a little data first
- 2 Choose the location
- 3 Connect, then test it
First time? The setup guide walks through each step, and our IP checker shows when it's working.
Good to know first
- Types. Residential and mobile IPs come from home broadband and phone networks; datacenter IPs come from servers. Residential, explained →
- Connections. Every type works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. What those are →
- Sessions. A sticky session keeps one IP for a while, which suits logins. A rotating one changes it on every request, which suits long lists of public pages. Which do I need? → Static proxies →
- Limits. Only your IP changes, not your language settings, your clock or who you are when signed in.
- The rules. Stay within the law that applies to you and each site's terms of service. Acceptable use policy →
