Ankara proxies, made simple
Ankara, in central Anatolia, is Turkey's capital and seat of government. From here, Turkish news and public service sites appear as they do for people in the city.

Anıtkabir visits, EGO buses and capital-city basics for an Ankara IP
Here's the idea in plain words: a proxy passes your browsing through another computer, and websites see that computer's address. With one in Ankara, Turkish sites show what people in the capital see, from local news and weather to restaurant and shop results. It's handy when you're visiting, moving for work or study, or checking how your small shop appears to buyers in Ankara.
Planning a visit
Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Atatürk, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations are the classic stops. Their visiting hours and holiday arrangements are published online, and with an Ankara IP, searches about them favour local Turkish pages with current details.
Buses, metro and AnkaraKart
EGO, the city's transport authority, runs Ankara's buses, metro lines and the Ankaray light rail, and fares are paid with an AnkaraKart. Route changes are posted in Turkish, and an Ankara IP helps searches show them instead of Istanbul's quite different system.
Setting it up
In your proxy dashboard, pick Turkey, then Ankara from the city options, and copy the connection details (server address, port and login) into your browser's settings. Before you start, open an IP lookup page and check that it says Ankara.
Things it won't do
Logging in to e-Devlet, Turkey's online government portal, still needs a Turkish ID number and an e-Devlet password or other approved login, and visa or residence appointments go through official systems. A local IP changes neither, and each site's rules, plus the law where you live, apply as usual.

Local broadband and mobile networks
Which type should I pick?
You buy data by the gigabyte (GB). Unsure? Residential covers most local checks.
Residential Premium
Selected residential IPs. For stricter sites.
Quick start in three steps
- 1 Buy a little data first
- 2 Choose the location
- 3 Connect, then test it
First time? The setup guide walks through each step, and our IP checker shows when it's working.
Good to know first
- Types. Residential and mobile IPs come from home broadband and phone networks; datacenter IPs come from servers. Residential, explained →
- Connections. Every type works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. What those are →
- Sessions. A sticky session keeps one IP for a while, which suits logins. A rotating one changes it on every request, which suits long lists of public pages. Which do I need? → Static proxies →
- Limits. Only your IP changes, not your language settings, your clock or who you are when signed in.
- The rules. Stay within the law that applies to you and each site's terms of service. Acceptable use policy →
