Pakistani IPs in simple terms: rupee prices, PKT and local blocks

Most Pakistani shop sites are in English and mark rupee prices with Rs, while Urdu, in its own script or typed in English letters, turns up in adverts and reviews. Browsing through a Pakistani proxy gives sites an address on a Pakistani network, so you see what someone in Karachi or Lahore sees, from rupee prices to the adverts shown beside them.

Daraz, PakWheels and your own shop

Comparing Daraz prices before sending a gift home, browsing PakWheels to see what a used car costs in Lahore, or checking that your online shop loads properly for visitors in Karachi: these are typical jobs for a Pakistani IP, though open sites such as PakWheels often work without one.

Urdu, English and Roman Urdu

Urdu is Pakistan's national language, but most online shops also run in English. Urdu runs right to left in a flowing script, while many people type it in English letters, known as Roman Urdu, which translation tools handle less reliably than Urdu script.

Pakistan time

Pakistan Standard Time is UTC+5 all year, half an hour behind India and an hour behind Bangladesh. Pakistan doesn't use summer time, so if you're planning a call with family in Karachi, the gap only shifts when your own country changes its clocks.

Local blocks come with a local address

Pakistan has blocked big platforms before: YouTube was unavailable from 2012 to 2016, and X was cut off in 2024. Anything blocked inside Pakistan is likely to stay blocked while you browse through a Pakistani address, and every site's terms carry on applying.

The basics, in plain English

Websites read your IP address, your connection's number online, to work out where you are. A proxy lends you one of ours from the country you pick; your language settings, clock, card and delivery address stay as they are, and sites you sign in to still know it's you.

  1. Choose a type and a small package below.
  2. Copy your login details from the dashboard into your browser, phone or app. HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 all work.
  3. Open our My IP tool to check the location websites now see.

Pakistan proxies: first-timer questions

For most shopping, news and app checks, choosing Pakistan is enough. A city helps when something is local: food delivery menus, a shop's delivery area or results on maps. Pick the city closest to the people you're checking for, such as Lahore if your relatives live there, and keep it the same while you compare.
Several big Pakistani fashion labels run a separate online store for overseas buyers, with its own prices and delivery charges, and may point visitors from abroad towards it. A Pakistani IP shows you the local store instead, which is handy for comparing prices or sending a gift to someone in Pakistan, as local stores mostly deliver within the country.
Start small: packages begin at 1 GB, and each order lasts 30 days, used or not. Text pages use far less data than video or downloads.
Tell us within 24 hours of delivery. We'll swap it for one that works or, if we can't, refund that part of the order. Used data can't be refunded.
